कानपुर देहात से 50 किलोमीटर दूर रूरा के नजदीक अजमेर- सियालदाह एक्सप्रेस के 14 डिब्बे पटरी से उतर गएं। जानकारी के मुताबिक, 12988 अजमेर सियालदाह एक्सप्रेस बुधवार सुबह 5.20 मिनट पर हादसे का शिकार हो गई।
इस हादसे में अबतक दो यात्री की मौत की खबर है, वहीं 70 से ज्यादा लोग घायल हैं। राहत बचाव कार्य लगातार जारी है। हादसे की वजह से रूट पूरी तरह से ठप हो गया है। इस वजह से 5 ट्रेनें कैंसिल की गई हैं जबकि 22 का रूट बदला गया है।
